GK Role Play
Let your children's imagination run wild at GK Role Play! This play setting is located in our events chalet - you will be in a magical learning environment where imagination rules.
Explore our role play area which includes a market, home, health care centre, fire truck, garage, and garden.
Sessions are an hour and fifteen minutes long but the last fifteen minutes will be dedicated to tidy time. Staff will encourage parents and children to tidy up what they have been playing with.
Please note - during the winter months we do put heaters on in the role play rooms but we would advise dressing warm as it is located in our wooden chalet.

GK Role Play Private Hire - January to March 2025
You can privately book a GK Role Play session. 1 hour and 15 minutes will be spent in the role-play rooms, then you will be taken to a reserved area of our main restaurant where the children can enjoy a children's platter and squash!
You are welcome to bring a birthday cake to sing Happy Birthday while the children are eating, but we ask due to safety reasons candles are not lit. Please do not bring a knife to cut the cake, ask a member of our restaurant team and they will be able to assist you. You are welcome to bring additional decorations to put around your reserved table in the restaurant if you wish.
A child's platter includes a sandwich with crisps, carrot sticks, cucumber sticks, and a slice of cake.
A minimum of 12 guests can be catered for within the session time. If you want additional hot or cold platters for adults, this will be an option at checkout when booking online. You will also be able to order from the restaurant on the day.
The private hire of GK Role Play is suitable for up to 30 people.

We are pleased to provide this facility and whilst we have attempted to make it as safe as possible, the very nature of children's play activity means that accidents can occasionally happen. We cannot, therefore, accept any responsibility for injury or damage to children or clothing whilst they are using the role-play area. Parental supervision is essential for the entire duration of the play session as it is not supervised by staff.
All accidents must be reported to a member of staff to ensure we can provide necessary assistance and record the incident.
We have a lot of toys and props, including some small items, so we ask that all young children be supervised by a responsible adult at all times.
Food and drink are not permitted in the role-play area. This can be consumed in the seating area.
We ask that both you and your children follow a 'be fair, kind, and polite' approach to play so that everyone has fun. It is the adult's responsibility to ensure children under their supervision are always well-behaved. Fighting, climbing, running, bullying or abusive language will not be tolerated. Parties may be asked to leave without a refund if this rule is not adhered to.
It is not permitted to photograph or film any children whom you are not directly supervising, without explicitly obtaining their carers permission.
Pushchairs can not be taken into the role play rooms but can be left in the reception area of the chalet - please ensure no valuables are left. We take no responsibility for unattended belongings.
The toilets are located in the main shop. We recommend going before your visit and if needing to go during the session please let a member of our team know.
Gk Role Play is completely separate from Wild Woods soft play.
Dogs are not permitted in our role play facility.

Changing your booking & cancellations: If you login or create an account during checkout you'll be able to change your booking up to 12 hours before your visit at no charge. Unfortunately, after this time we cannot make changes to your booking - especially during or after your booked date and time. We regret that no refunds can be given for cancellations made by you at any time. If we cannot operate for any reason, you will be given the option to change your tickets for another date or receive a full refund. You would not be given a refund for your booking if any other event on your booking was canceled for any reason by Garden King and the rule of changing your role play booking 12 hours before your session would remain.
