Looking for a fun activity to take the children to during summer? Our Garden King build a dinosaur bear experience is the one for you! Join one of our roarsome park rangers as you prepare to adopt your new best friend and create a special bond that will never end! You’ll also receive a certificate of adoption to remember your experience.

After the workshop, take your new best friend through our dinosaur themed woodland walk. Spot the dinosaurs hidden in the trees and find our fun fact boards to answer questions on the dino activity sheet. The Dino Woods will be filled with many Instagram worthy photo opportunities.

Please note: The choice of bears may vary. This is a group activity held in the reception of our chalet. There may be other people making their bear at the same time as you. Dogs are not permitted within our Garden King’s build-a-bear experience.

There is free admission to our Dino Woods every weekend between 11am and 3pm until the 31st August 2025. We will then be open daily between the 21st July and 31st August 2025. Please check we are open before travel to avoid disappointment. This event advertised is if wishing to participate in a workshop on your visit.

Our woodland walk may be difficult for wheelchairs & pushchairs. Please wear suitable clothing and footwear as our woodland walk is outside and will operate in all weathers. Pushchair parking is available. We take no responsibility for you being eaten by a dinosaur during your visit with us.

Changing your booking & cancellations: If you login or create an account during checkout you'll be able to change your booking up to 12 hours before your visit at no charge. We regret that no refunds can be given for cancellations made by you at any time. If we cannot operate our experience for any reason you will be given the option to change your tickets for another date or receive a full refund. If our woods have to close for any reason during the event but our workshops can still go ahead you will not be entitled to a refund for these separate events.

Join one of our roarsome park rangers in our events chalet to colour in a dino-themed colouring sheet which will be inserted into your plant pot. Our park ranger will then help you plant some seeds and you will be able to take this home to watch grow!  OR colour in a dino-themed colouring sheet which will be inserted into a small cup with a straw and lid. You can then take this to our restaurant to fill it with slushy as part of the price.

Afterward, you will be invited to travel back in time to see and take photos with all your favourite dinosaurs in our Dino Woods. Children will be given an activity sheet to spot the dinosaurs hidden in the trees and find our fun fact boards to answer questions.
